The foundation of this board is butternut wood. As there was a sizeable knot hole I took the challenge to fill and surface the front with epoxy. The board is approximately 18" x 12" x 1". It has leather carrying handles. Due to the finish this is not recommended for a cutting board even though it is shown in the Cutting Board category.
