This project's main wood is black walnut, with maple borders. The design is a modified version of a free SVG. The black walnut shows even darker with the maple border pieces. From creating the wood piece, design, engraving, and finishing took about 2 hours. The design can be applied to any wood, preferably hardwood, for a special gift for Mom.
